I had always wanted to visit the Threads of Life in Ubud, and I chose Ashanti Villa primarily for its convenient location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent dry cleaning/laundry services offered by the villa. , the spacious villa with a dining area was a great feature that I truly enjoyed.
Our stay at Ashanti Villa started off on a bad note. We were moved to a neighboring villa that was further away from Ubud and lacked amenities.

Convenient location within walking distance to shops, restaurants, yoga studios, and attractions. Comfy beds for a good night's sleep. - the owner went above and beyond for my friend's birthday, driving us to the spa and restaurant free of charge. - Great value for money with a private villa and pool
Felt truly looked after, nothing was too much trouble.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the staff. The villa, nestled amidst lush greenery, provided a tranquil escape for our large family. The spacious and comfortable rooms allowed each member of our party to have their own space and privacy.
For dads, it would be great to have a few more recreational activities for the children within the villa premises.

Great staff who went above and beyond to make us feel at home, providing excellent service and solving any problems we had. the breakfast was amazing with delicious omelets and the pool had a beautiful rainforest design, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Location was also convenient, just a short walk to shops and restaurants.
The bathroom could do with an update and the in-room toilets were a bit dark, making it difficult to see. the villa was a bit hard to find and we initially got confused with another villa with a similar name, causing inconvenience in accessing the city.

Loved having my own private outdoor pool, felt like a glamorous celebrity. The spa was a nice touch, even though I couldn't understand a word they said during the treatments. The view from the terrace and garden was breathtaking, although I did get lost in the garden once or twice.
Oh, who needs a functioning safe or a shower that won't collapse? So much more exciting this way!

Loved the private pool, perfect for practicing my synchronized swimming routine. The spa made me feel relaxed, until I remembered I had to squeeze into a plane seat. The view from the terrace was nice, especially when I saw a monkey steal someone's ice cream.
The bed was so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. Oh wait, that's not a con.
